Its truly an awesome comeback from Indian Hockey Team despite our 2-3 lose against England. Arjun Halapa, Gurvindar Chandi and our defense were really well played today.
If we had played with this level in our previous matches we could have definitely won the previous matches too…
I had watched the Australia vs. England and i really thought that this match would be a severe blow for us but that doesn’t happen and what really happened was that our men have shown that sub continents have skill but what we lack is proper facilities and governance.
Rajpal, Sardar, Arjun, Chandi, Prabjot and every others played very well. What i notice was we lack our skills in coverting the penalty corners into a goal. We have missed almost every corners in tha past three matches. Our men doesn’t deflect or deviate the strike and the ball is just straight to the goalkeeper.
Lets hope that India win a World Cup atleast once in our lifetime…
